I think at this point about 90% of us own a shacket and it’s actually a great transitional piece from Summer to Autumn and Winter to Spring. A shacket will always look good with a pair of denim jeans, trainers and a t-shirt but here are some more ideas if you’ve got one sitting in your wardrobe gathering dust.

I love a white dress & shacket combo, a great way to wear your summer dresses into the colder months - layer a knit vest over the dress and wear with flat knee high boots for extra warmth.

If black is too harsh on your skin tone, brown and pink is also a very elegant combination, love this double breasted COS coat with a knit dress and the Khaite riding boots. I’ve gone for this Loewe mini puzzle bag because it matches the pink tone in the shawl almost identically.
