Second Hand September is an initiative by Oxfam asking us to shop only second hand for 30 days or more.
It’s a great reminder that there are so many alternatives to buying new, starting by falling in love with your existing wardrobe again, shopping on pre-loved websites like Ebay, Depop and Vestiaire Collective, sourcing vintage goodies or renting instead of buying items you know you’ll only wear once.

HURR is a brilliant peer to peer fashion rental company, with a residency in Selfridges London and a huge collection of the latest and best luxury and mid market dresses. From Sleeper to Cecilie Bahnsen, you are guaranteed to find an amazing dress you can wear for a week and return guilt free.
I use the platform to rent special pieces as well as lend out my wardrobe - some of my dresses have had a much better summer than me, in Greece or San Tropez!
